The JW Marriott Old Bank project in Krakow thoughtfully integrates modern luxury with deep respect for the city’s UNESCO World Heritage context, transforming a historic bank building into elegant public areas that celebrate original architectural character. In the design of the public spaces, we preserved and highlighted heritage elements—such as vaulted ceilings and ornate stonework—creating fluid transitions between historic fabric and contemporary interventions that feel both authentic and refined. Guest rooms are curated as serene sanctuaries that balance timeless local craftsmanship with elevated comfort, reflecting Krakow’s cultural richness and the building’s storied history while meeting the expectations of a global luxury audience.
